India – 2010. India is a great country for people watching. Most of these photos were taken in village of Monayampettai which is a few miles north of Pondicherry because that is where I spend most of my time on this trip and where I was closest to the people on a daily basis.
This was taken at the welcoming ceremony for the Habitat teams. Not so interesting for this girl.
This lady was the owner of one of the homes we worked on. She was a widow who had to work in the fields to support her two children.
